Dinner will be served in the dining room, looking out over the main garden. It will be to your taste - you may well have made it yourself! Then as the nights draw in sink into a sumptuous armchair, and sip an after-dinner cognac in front of a roaring fire. Satellite television including CNN is available in the drawing room. When it is time to retire for the night, you will find the bedrooms are an ideal retreat after an exhausting day of sampling fine wines and local gastronomic delights. Each room is individually furnished to the highest standard and each has its own modern bathroom facilities. Despite its pedigree and impressive exterior, the chateau is no austere museum but a real home with comfortable accommodation. Audrey Friedman, in collaboration with her French architect, has restored the building sympathetically. The resulting renovation combines the amenities of modern life with many original features from the old times, such as open stone fireplaces and oak floors, and an ancient stone spiral staircase with steps worn by countless feet over centuries was brought back to its original condition. So why not join us - we promise you it will be an experience you will never forget!
