-You wouldn't think fish and light fittings would go together particularly well, but beaten-copper back-lit fish look fantastic in situ. They're not all that useful as practical lighting, granted, but as a dramatic focus for a wall or a room, as a sort of semi-practical sculpture, they are unrivalled. The metal is heat-blasted and/or chemically patinated to give a wonderful multi-hued finish to the fish, so they look good by the light of day, too.
-I can also make more standard forms of worked-metal lighting, including rustic tile uplighters, light fixtures with a recognisable armillary-sphere look to them, and electroliers.
-And if you have a light fitting in dire need of restoration, contact me. Take a look at the gallery for an example. |
